Term 3 2026 Reception Intake

If your child turns five on or before the 31st October 2026 they are eligible to start school in our term 3 intake. To find out more or discuss a term 3 start for your child contact Galilee on 8557 2200 or email enrolments@galilee.catholic.edu.au.

Enrolment Information

If you are interested in enrolling your child at Cardijn College Galilee Campus, visit the Request a Prospectus page, fill in your details to receive a prospectus via email or post.

Children who turn five on or before April 30 can start Reception at the beginning of the school year. We accept applications across all year levels and enrolments will be subject to vacancies at that time.

Please note the following:

The application fee is non-refundable as it covers administration costs
The Application for Enrolment online form is an application only and a place is not guaranteed until the school offers your child a place
In the event that a place is offered by us and accepted by you, the terms detailed in the
Application for Enrolment online form will become part of the Contract of Enrolment

The Enrolment Process

Please visit https://enrol.cardijn.catholic.edu.au/galilee/ to complete an application.

Your application must include:

a copy of the child’s birth certificate/passport
a completed copy of our enrolment form
a reference from your Parish Priest (not required if your child currently attends a Catholic School)
if you are unable to provide a religious reference, then a reference from your current Principal or classroom teacher is essential (if applicable)
copy of the latest school report (if applicable)
a certificate of any sacraments received
a $50 application fee
reports in relation to special needs (if applicable)
copy of Custody Order (if applicable)

After receipt of your application, an interview will be arranged with a member of the leadership team at an appropriate time.

At the interview, copies of the most recent school reports should be made available.

Enrolment Priority Guidelines

The following criteria will guide the Principal in developing a priority for enrolment at Galilee:

Siblings of children who attend Galilee
Children from Catholic families from the Willunga Parish (Normanville, Willunga and Aldinga)
Children from Catholic families in other parishes with priority given to those families who participate regularly in the life of their parish
Children from families with religious affiliation
Other applicants willing to support the Catholic ethos

The date of lodging an Enrolment Application will also be used as a guide in the priority of enrolment. Applications for enrolment are completed online and require payment of a $50 application fee.
