Galilee offers an inclusive educational setting where members are treated as individuals with unique needs and requirements. We work alongside families to best understand the needs of children and have a number of specialist support staff who work closely with homegroup teachers to facilitate one to one and small group work with students.
For children who are eligible to access extra support and funding through other external agencies, we work closely with visiting specialists to ensure that children are offered a collaborative and comprehensive support system. Individual education plans are utilised where applicable and we organise regular review meetings with families and specialists to discuss strengths and challenges, set goals and make adjustments where necessary.
Our inside and outside learning spaces are purposefully designed to support the wellbeing and inclusivity of all students with the aim of easing the transition between the home space and school environment.
